Axi-Tek Ltd was formed in 2012 to work with manufacturers,universities, research organisations, and other technology innovators to help them to develop laboratory concepts in the field of x-ray imaging to produce market ready products.

Since  2013 Axi-Tek has worked in close collaboration with the x-ray systems and equipment supplier Metrix NDT Ltd, to develop new x-ray systems and software for a wide range of customers.

In late 2020 Axi-Tek Ltd acquired Metrix NDT Ltd. to enable Axi-Tek to provide complete x-ray imaging solutions from R&D to market sales.
